Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

I mean I wasn't the one virtue signaling about China so...
I mean, he actually bought a car based on his values, you’re just bothering him about it on the internet. Who’s virtue signaling?
...what do you think "virtue signaling" means?
And the point is their values are flawed. That's fine, nobody's perfect. Just trying to prevent others from making the same mistake.
It means yammering about your virtues without doing anything substantive. If you’re just critiquing him for having virtues and having reasons for doing what he does that’s pretty weak shit.
I'm not critiquing them for "having values", I'm critiquing them for not understanding basic geopolitical facts.
Oh ok, please name the non-problematic car brand he should have chosen, oh saint of virtue
That depends on what your values are but if they're "not owned by nazis", you're gonna have to purchase from outside the CCP.
You think I bought a car to support the Chinese government?
That's a long bow to draw there, champ
No I don't think that. And it's not what I said. I think you bought a car to avoid supporting Elon Musk (at least that's what you said) but you ended up supporting worse institutions instead.
