You had me in the first half...
They've wormed their way into positions of power such as judges and statesmen. Anyone with an inkling of hate for Nazis would do jury nullification but then most people think the point of jury duty is to convict someone.
People have been playing down Nazi dog whistling so long that Nazis have become emboldened to do Nazi stuff.
there was definetly a big period of irony poisoning in there somewhere within these last decade where they were saying covert fascist shit "as a joek what, do you wanna censor joeks"
