How is the dude with the equivalent charm of a vomiting donkey in charge?

Because leftists post memes instead of voting?

Or maybe there just isn’t enough leftists voters, even if all the internet warriors vote?

That’s what the election results indicate at least.

If leftists are so significant that we influence elections, then pass progressive legislation. If leftists are so insignificant than we can be ignored, then stop blaming us.

The Democrats are like abusers. Its the left's fault if they don't win, or they didn't need the left after all when they do. We're significant of a voting block and not so in the same breathe.

If leftists are so significant that we influence elections, then pass progressive legislation.

Everyone is significant enough to influence elections.

Not enough voters want progressive legislation, we can prove this with election results.

Being pro-democracy means voting for the lesser of 2 evils when your legislation isn’t popular enough to get passed.

The GOP has a history of easily tricking leftists into not voting.

Leftists were tricked into not voting for Harris because of Palestine and now Trump is building a new resort on Gaza beach.

Being pro-democracy means voting for the lesser of 2 evils

The "lesser evil" has ceased to represent progressives, both practically and morally.

On practical grounds, there are problems that have been with us for decades. To name a few examples: corporate bailouts/subsidies, expanding presidential powers, the increasing wealth gap, stagnating wages, environmental destruction, no climate tax, increasing government surveillance, the increasing military industrial complex, no federally mandated maternity leave, universal healthcare, no codification of reproductive rights, the 50 year decline of the middle class, etcetera.) When Democrats are in office, they delay some of the Republican agenda (temporally) but do not address these larger issues. Even when we get a blue majority, there are always a couple of Democrats that impede progress. As these problems have continued for decades, the logical conclusion is that Democrats are either incompetent or complicit.

On moral grounds, Democrats have supported far too many white supremacist / imperialist policies that benefit the wealthy elite. Democrats have voted for "tough on crime" policies that disproportionately affect people of color. (The recent expansion of ICE could have been prevented by Democrats. Yet Chuck Schumer is now calling for ICE reform instead of abolition.) Democrats have supported immoral wars and covert CIA operations in order to further our global hegemony and corporate profits -- at the expense of Latin America, Africa, the Middle-East, and East Asia. The literal genocide of the Palestine people is still funded with US tax dollars. (If you think this is a "trick", then it's because you have no principles to stand on.) Democrats just voted to give Israel billions of dollars to continue the genocide.

There simply is no party to vote for to address these issues. While I don't blame anyone who continues to vote to delay the Republican agenda, the "lesser of two evils" rationale is precisely what led us into a fascist oligarchic police-state.

When Democrats are in office, they delay *some* of the Republican agenda (temporally) but do not address these larger issues.

A super majority is required to address these issues anyone pretending otherwise is being disingenuous or has been tricked into ignorance.

Even when we get a blue majority, there are always a couple of Democrats that impede progress.

Those examples are of people voting against the Democratic Party. But you conveniently group them with the democrats they vote against.

Some specific examples of people who voted with republicans is Sinema and Fetterman. Both of which ran as progressives. According to your logic we should be blaming all progressives for their actions and using it as an excuse to let Trump take over the world.

The fact of the matter is that the GOP will run their own candidates as democrats to get in office in districts that are blue then their candidate will vote against the Democratic Party. For example, Manchin. The GOP will then leverage this to claim both sides are the same and trick leftists into letting the government move further right by not voting. This works on leftists who are too oblivious to notice that these “democrats” are voting against the Democratic Party.

So now we have far right extremists running all parts of the government because leftists have been tricked so easily into believing that both sides are the same by the GOP and foreign bots that benefit from Trump being in office.
