Probably said below but will repeat it, the narcissistic asshole doesn't realize it's given to them in that way, cause the presenter is appeasing them.

They're getting their fluffing and enjoying all the winds or something like that unsure if it's ever said that way but fits.

Also appeasement never works check Poland WWII, similar to Trump pre ww3 perhaps? Perhaps time will tell.

Yeah doubtful it will, it might satiate him for a while but after you just give in then you have nothing left to bargain with really. It's crystal clear the man hasn't been told no enough in his life and as such ignores it when he hears it now.
