It's both. I often wish that a lobotomy was available as an elective surgery so I could become dumb, ignorant, and blissfully unaware of (gestures broadly around) all this.

I would turn to different drugs to do this but they would affect my ability to have a job to afford a roof over my head and food in my belly.
