Except they'll have to resume funding again, just like every other time he does this.
Wait, he actually complies with those orders?
For the most part. They will often appeal the ruling, and ask for the rule to stay in place while a higher court decides...sometimes it stays, sometimes it gets put on hold. Wash, rinse, repeat until it gets to the Supreme Court.
Most of the funding that they try and pull ends up getting reinstated though, since that money was technically allocated by Congress and Trump has no legal authority to just cancel it without another act of Congress. In the end, it's all just a waste of time and taxpayer money.
