I’ve found for me cutting off/minimalising the constant stream of new screamy content and advertising does a lot to lessen the addiction.
Started by deleting social media (because fuck fb/yt/x/insta/… bend the knee= byebye).
The hardest was youtube but not impossible. Switch to a frontend only and copy only the channels you really care about. Then after a while you’ll feel like it’s just not worth it. It’s the finely tuned algorithms that keep you coming back. Fuck em. We’re not cattle.
