Boycott US

Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Canada is already subordinate to the US empire, this is not a new thing. Your social programs have already been eroded by decades of neoliberal policy which originated from the Heritage Foundation, the authors of Project 2025. For the love of god, you people have to become anticapitalist and decolonial at home to challenge US imperialism. When they extract more from here, it won't be facilitated through military expansion, but political and economic pressure. You have to pressure your family and friends who vote liberal or conservative, you have to be active and critical of local representatives in person as a bare minimum of political involvement, you have to be comfortable fighting the Canadian state that has always and will always operate in the interest of capital. You people take Trump as a convenient explanation for systemic failure that no individual could cause or exacerbate.
