Honestly the messaging of "defund the police" was god awful and set back the progressives by years.

100%. Besides choosing to appease MAGA, rather than resist it with every means possible, the "Defund the Police" message was the biggest blunder. It was a poorly chosen phrase, and a poorly managed messaging campaign. It handed MAGA a perfect club to wield against us.

Another stupid, and easily predictable, self-own by the Dems.
