I always mix it up I try and do periods of both, but I always like hearing people's reasoning for what they choose.
First of all, I want to make it clear I'm not knocking what people know and love in any way. Regardless of what you use or how you use it, if you love it, I'm genuinely happy for you. That said, I think there can be a huge difference between flower being purchased vs flower being grown for personal use.
Before I started growing I loved trying everything new as the commercial weed market evolved into what it is today. For a long time I basically used it all interchangeably. Nothing on the legal/illegal markets were giving me the type of relief I was looking for so eventually I started growing. After doing that for awhile I started making my own concentrates too. Some of them make sense and are "better" in one way or another to the flower they were created from, but like I said in the first reply I don't personally think they're worth it for what you get in the end compared to what you started with most of the time. Nice to change it up here and there or maybe easier to use in a recipe or something, but more of a novelty than anything.
On the commercial side... well I don't have anything nice to say about them at all lol.
