yes. I wish the democrats hated trump as much as MAGA thinks they do.
Im always amazed they still think compromising with them can work.
The one thing I know the GOP are right about is hell or high water they back the party. Its sick. Its a sick way to orginize power, creating insurmountable bars that cant be cleared through rational means but that is how it is setup.
Americans need to pick the policies that are non negotiable, have the party adopt them, and go 30+ years blindly pulling the levers for those who can achieve them.
Its not moral, its not enlightened, its just playing the game the way the game is setup. There will be some big losses and we arent guaranteed anything in the end but if we are going to sit around and pretend this polticial system is something we want then we need to use it as is.
That is the thing each and every democrat is missing. That is why the Republicans can look down their nose and know your cause is hopeless.
Waiting for some breaking point that will create a supermajority is like waiting for the the great depression so that you can have the new deal.
