“It’s not my fault, I voted for Harris!” Your votes dont mean shit and you have to either stop being cowards and do the work that needs to be done or at the very fucking least accept that when other countries are criticizing the American citizens for the things their country does, they are ALSO talking about you. Not just the MAGA people.
As an American... I think most people here are extremely out of touch with what reality actually is. People here have enough privilege to not even see reality. It's like people are very sheltered. Or at least it seems that way. Truth and reality don't seem to be accepted here. Like it's taboo. It's like we aren't supposed to know.
Is it really that? Because I’ve been to the states quite a few times and some of the places I’ve seen are far worse for standards of living than even the sketchiest neighbourhoods in my country. And it sounds like its about to get a lot harder to afford things like health insurance real fast for you guys. Like wtf is the breaking point there exactly?
Its not the privileged that piss me off so much as the down and out still fighting tooth and nail against any change. I can under stand the well off that have homes and a retirement plan that goes beyond a single bullet and a note. But the people barely making ends meet, or not making them meet at all tend to blame it all on "the other guys team" and just keep supporting the same system slowly crushing them.
And the wild part to me is we are not talking about some sort of socialist action, just normal for the literal rest of the world stuff.
