Ok my next explanation is going to assume a few things which I'm going to list up front.

You're American.
You've seen a handicap stall.

They were usually the size of a handicap stall with a small sink and a hand dryer/paper towel dispenser. They weren't opulent by any means but they weren't cramped either.
