Never forget how Merrick Garland and those who enabled him slow-walked all of this. They could have let Smith loose in the summer of 2024 but, oh Noes, the 'perception!' of it all. /s
There may be a point, in hindsight, where inaction is viewed by history as complicity. Fuck all the enablers.
Hell they're doing it again with the DOJ/FBI's blatant violation of the Epstein Files transparency act... talking about 'writing up this, censuring that' and the talk of allowing up to a full YEAR more to comply before impeaching Bondi. More slow-walking.
Oh, I didn't mean to excuse or minimise in any way the GOP's own failures and malice in all of this. They were/are certainly the primary ones responsible...
I figured you didn't by the way you worded it. But please be aware that there are trolls that will blame the democrats no matter how evil something trump and/or the republicans did, It's a distraction to what the original evil thing was. I'm calling it out when I see it, even if I don't think you're a troll or doing it to distract.
To be clear, I'm not saying democrats are awesome and shitty free. But talking about the dems distracts from og shitty thing done (usually).
