While I support trans rights and think this list should never of been made, I'm shocked it's only 110 people in all of Texas.
I would of figured the number would be atleast 10s of thousands.
Even so though, who cares what another decides to call themselves? I don't mean that negatively. I mean if Jimmy now wants to be called Jenny... K. It doesn't affect me at all. All it does is make Jenny happy so why not call them that? If Sophia wants to Tom, my bank account doesn't change, my housing situation doesn't change, my job doesn't change.
I will say I don't really understand why people want to change their gender. To me gender is meaningless. If you are a guy who wants to wear a skirt and blouse go for it. If you are a girl who wants to play football or dnd go for it. Rather your license says f or m shouldn't matter but if it makes you happy for some reason it should say whatever you want. If you are thinking of bathrooms... Don't make a mess in the bathroom and it shouldn't matter. If you piss/shit on the floor or attack other people in the bathroom you are an asshole, doesn't matter if you have a penis or vagina, you're an asshole. If it does matter, you better have separate male and female bathrooms in your home. Only reason gender should be important is in certain Healthcare situations but to my understanding that's "sex" and not gender. I'm not a doctor but I believe certain medical procedures need to be done differently, like I believe(saying believe because I heard it before but don't know it and don't trust my memory) anesthesia affects women less then men so their dosages should be higher. Now that I think about though, I wonder how hrt would affect that.
