Breadtube if it didn't suck.
Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.
Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.
There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.
A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

Countdown to thousands of 5090s tossed in landfills like the Atarti 2600 game landfil due to A.I. bubble burst and technology advancing faster than power grid evolution for them to be competitive.
I'm not even sure I'd want one for free. The power draw is absurd and I don't really like how ray tracing looks. And it doesn't even get a decent frame rate in some recent games without DLSS.
There have also been issues with the 12-pin connectors melting and catching fire, because apparently having 500+ W go through a single cable isn't that safe.
The problem is the shitty connector that is very difficult to plug in, difficult to tell when seated, and has a fail-deadly state where it just explodes unless perfectly seated. That, and people using third party cables in their modular PSU that are wired incompatibly because everything is proprietary.
From an engineering perspective it’s perfectly safe and not even that difficult or costly to do 500W, your house has like 4 appliances that do twice that or more on a daily basis.
They should just use something like this.
~50 amps is kinda uncommon in the house.
Yeah, it's pretty embarrassing. Absolute amateur hour. They should have gotten into way more trouble for that.
Media outlets all seemed to unanimously agree it was “user error” from the Linus tech assholes to
nexus and the industry decided to sell solutions and everything just kept trucking on. Its still a problem and will continue to be a problem but I guess nobody cares
Ripping out the copper wiring ahead of sales.
