Meanwhile, TransLink ridership is still down, services still cut back, and LRT expansion slowly approaching where it was supposed to be a decade ago. Busses still have the “Transit of the year 1998” stickers from back when everything was run by BC Transit.
Gotta make sure the bc ndp uphold their 2024 platform promising to bring handy dart into public ownership. Seniors and those with disabilities deserve professional service.

I'm curious what the ridership projections/goals were from 10 years ago, even if we are back at 2016 levels of ridership today, as seen here:

Remote work definitely changed commuting patterns drastically in cities, so it's debatable how well pre- and post-pandemic stats can be compared.
