Here I am reading this while I sit on the floor next to my son's bed as he's trying to sleep. He's too excited that he doesn't want to be alone. I'm so happy for him, and a bit sad that I haven't felt excitement like that for so long.
My girlfriend gets excited easily while I don't really do. I feel like its a personality trait like any other.
I have strong feelings, but excitement isn't one I feel that much. It's okay and I don't feel bad anymore about it.
Good for you for making this so special for him. He's a lucky kid.
