Benin bronzes are the records of the history of the people in Benin.
They currently reside in western Museums, since they came into possession of the colonial overlords. Sane people consider this injust.
No, I know what the Benin Bronzes are, I'm not seeing the connection to the contemporary war-flag of a rebellion that was captured in the course of a literal battle.
