There's more gun owners every year for recreational shooting. It's bound to happen again eventually. This won't be the last mass shooting.
The more legal guns we have, the more some of those guns will get lost, stolen, or sold off into the wrong hands. I'm sure there will be others who want to do a shooting.
It's just a matter of time.
I plan on getting my first firearm next year. I’ve gone right off of gun control seeing how shit governments are getting.
That's a selfish mindset. Your gun could also get stolen, or lost, or found after a fire, or otherwise end up as an illegal firearm.
The only solution to shootings in Australia is less guns for everyone, not more gun for you. The only way to do that is to end recreational gun ownership.
P.S "Self defense" isn't a reason for gun ownership in Australia (being attacked doesn't automatically give you the right to kill), it's not legally valid, so you're gonna have to lie on your forms.
It’s not selfish to want to protect my fellow citizens from a future Trump here. It’s literally the opposite.
Shootings are not an issue in Australia, one every 10-20 years is not a big deal.
And that’s fine, I don’t mind lying to the government.
I think that's a callous outlook for such a random crime. You're agreeing wuth Charlie Kirk, so maybe you'll share some of his fate.
