I think they are saying that taking buttermilk out of the recipe made it woke. Not that that helps shed any light on their alleged reasoning…

Anything that doesn't cause cardiovascular disease or cancer within 15 years is woke. Think about it.

tbf buttermilk is pretty low fat. It's what's left over when you make butter. OOP's argument is still dumb though.
