It's pretty bad. I don't know where you live, but other countries are trying to go down the same road. Canada is trying to privatize their healthcare, Brexit with the UK, etc. I have no idea how to stop the greeds from being such assholes.
To be clear. The vast majority of Canadians do not want private health care. Just certain people in government are pushing for it.
The vast majority of Americans want free healthcare and abortion rights, our politicians ignore us. I don't know how to stop the politicians here or in Canada. Do you have a money in politics problem too?
