Proverbial broken clock. “On the Nose” did a real good deep dive, where one of the panelists describes listening the Tucker, as a Palestine activist, is akin to riding as a passenger in a specific car that you are super familiar with and suddenly you find two wheels in a ditch and the car is about to go off a cliff.
I don't think it's a broken clock situation. Tucker is a fascist and he's also very calculated. It's not a coincidence that he is taking stances against Israel.
He knows that there is growing resentment towards Israel, even among right wingers. Tucker is a propagandist. His positions are tactical.
I can't decide whether he is a Face or a Heel. Either he is using the public resentment towards Israel to get people on his side or he's playing the role of the bad guy to make anti-Zionism look bad.
There seems to be a schism happening on the right between those that cater to true antisemitism/nazism and the internationalist, 'tolerant' fascists. It seems to me like some such as Tucker and MTG are trying to appeal to the anti-Israel right, which allows them to look more reasonable to centrists as well as still appeal to their true far-right base of white supremacists.
This. Libs immediately went to bat for MTG and wanted "republicans like her" in the party.
