The actual danish name is wienerbrød, and it's the same in many other languages just with their name for bread instead of brød. Wienerbröd in Swedish for example.

Fun fact: "wienerbrød" and "danish" are both correct, since it was invented in Copenhagen by Viennese bakers.

Vienna's Germanic name is Wien. "Wiener" means "from Vienna."

And Weiner is an American English euphemism for penis, so weinerbrod sounds kinda funny.

It does, but that's an us issue. Sausage from Vienna = wiener, sausages look like penises. "Come on" makes it sound like Denmark has any part in it, which they don't.
