Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Over a decade ago I did some volunteer work with disabled children for a few months. Basically assist them, organize a summer camp for people with and without disabilities, teaching other volunteers how to approach and effectively help them, etc.
I also did some workshops showing non-disabled people what certain disabilities are like, how they affect you in ways they wouldn’t even expect, how to improve things to make them more accessible and so on.
Even today, I get constantly shown ads for clinics, medical treatments, wheel chairs, prosthetics,… ugh
Install ublock origin
I do use uBlock Origin. But I'm not allowed to do so (and do not have the privilege to do it anyways) on my work devices. My PiHole takes care of a part of the ads for these, when I work from home, but still...
Also there's a decent chance, that $App finds a way to shove ads down your throat anyways, though there aren't many apps left that try to show ads, as I consider that a ban able offense that's worth a Deinstallation without warning
What would a workplace have against adblockers???
Do they WANT viruses on work computers? Adware exists and is a threat.
Nah, but they mandate chrome based browsers, and after manifest V2 was removed...
We do still have ad blockers, but they do not work as effectively as before.
