I don't get why even come to PlayStation community to shit on PlayStation? Won't bother to comment on the rest because it's off topic.
Can people really just buy PCs anymore? Seems like the manufacturers are doing everything they can to turn back to HaaS and kill consumers being able to own anything ever again. (Looking at the memorymarket rn)
Your comment has a vibe of "PC gaming is the only righteous way to play games" even though consoles are literally made for this purpose. I actually came from PC to PS and haven't looked back - this was a choice and PC Master Race preachers are all about choice, right? 😉 I have a PC too, I just don't want to play on it.
You're talking about owning games yet 90% of PC gamers are tied to Steam where you don't actually own your games. For PS there's always been a big chunk of players buying physical games.
Unless you were referring strictly to prices, then that's a factor too for many.
I mean re read my comment. That's a huge stretch to imply that I am implying PC master race by what I said. I was responding to a comment about PCs, yes, but:
IMO they want to take away people owning their hardware period. Whether that be console or PC. If they can't make it into a subscription where you own nothing and rent everything... To them, there's what it is today and what they're working towards. Hence, HaaS.
And the memory market for consumers is going to have knock on affects to consoles, raspberry pis, Nintendo switches, etc...
