Regarding spoilers; Please put "(Spoilers)" in the title of your post if you anticipate spoilers, as we do not currently have a spoiler tag available. If your post contains an image that could be considered a spoiler, please mark the thread as NSFW so the image gets blurred. As far as how long to wait until the post is no longer a spoiler, please just use your best judgement. Everyone has a different idea on this, so we don't want to make any hard limits.
Please use spoiler tags whenever commenting a spoiler in a non-spoiler thread. Most of the Lemmy clients don't support this but we want to get into the habit as clients will be supporting in the future.

That's wild I didn't know it was a Netflix movie as I came across it on the Prime. I never assumed the son was gay, but definitely on the polarizing side of James, I would say eccentric at the very least. I just saw it as a kid being a kid and trying to figure out who he was. When Richson's character blew them up I definitely gave an audible "wait what the fuck?!" Even though I watched it alone out of boredom. The way I see it, only one of the clones was humanized through the film. The remaining hundreds that popped up last minute were only seen as killing machines. Nothing more. Because they didn't go through the same growth process as the one did, that made it ok to blow them up? I guess? I don't know man, between that and the mom mafia, the messages in that movie were all kinds of fucked up. I chuckled once or twice but overall it was an awful waste of time.
AMBER BUDDIESSSSSS
I shouldn't have laughed at that part, yet I definitely did. So maybe the movie is trash intentionally, because most of us are... Trash?
