Isn’t #5 the most reflective of the population at whole though?
Of a repressed population, yes. You can portray characters in media as explicitly being in a non-straight relationship and also not make it central to that character's plot. Just a trait that they have that's demonstrative and not... Well... "Token gay guy energy"
IMO Brooklyn 99 did this really well with Captain Raymond Holt. Him being gay was a significant part of the story, dealing with the struggles of being the first openly-gay and black police captain.
Maybe. Who knows what our creator reveals about us outside the canon of the real world?
I hope the gospel of prettybunnys includes all my inner dialogue, people need to know the context.
