Green was weird. What does "worst" have to do with victory?

Anyway, I didn't see green at all, and thought purple was music, not speech, and so tried every possible combination including "beat" sigh

fortunately saw the other other categories quickly, but I would never had gotten Green on it's own. Never heard 'worst' used in that context. How would you even use it? "I worst him"?
