I'm not really familiar with the company outside their name but the IP hand-over is always a win these situations. Good for them!
They have to buy the IP, but many are taking them up on the offer, so it can't be that bad. Can't be more then the cost of creating a new IP at least.
Globie was one of Bravegroup branches. They've had some management issues leading to some earlier departures. The writing has been on the wall for a while, so it's nice the talents have a buy back option.
Do we know if it's a similar scheme idol Corp used some time ago, i.e. income sharing for x amount of time? Or did they have to fork the money outright?
Doesn't sound like it. Idol was a weird exception because the leave/revenue sharing was only available if they took Brave up on it at the time of buyout. Kai Saikota explicitly said she wasn't even offered a buyback option. Nikki Rei managed to walk with her IP, but she was part of Idol gen1 and could have had some weird contract that Brave couldn't do anything about.
Maeve Morveren is very clear that she's buying her IP, so we can assume the same is true for everyone else in her position.

Hmm, makes sense. Still better than being left with nothing.
Thanks for clarification!
On some level - just keep being your old fake self.
Fuck are they gonna do about it? They don't exist anymore.
