Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

The guy literally shares the "source files" for his open source for his comics (krita, inkscape, etc), plus all the information about how it's drawn. I also suspected AI but it's likely just his style; like the use of em dashes w/ LLMs.
Too bad even with all the documentation, it's tough to trust people now.
Does he have them for this one? Usually that site is pretty good and I haven't seen it make a mistake yet. The eyes in the first and third panel are really off, which happens a lot with AI generated comics.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's a false positive, but it did strike me as AI generated before I even put it in the detector.
I'm on mobile right now so I can't check the krita file itself but I was able to download it from the link OP posted (you need to click a link further down on the page that says source).
It wouldn't be the first time someone's looks like AI, though. It's a hallmark of digital art, and AI has to have trained off something, too
Tbh, I don't even know how to use krita, I wouldn't know where to start to get the history.
Those eyes are really off though, especially in the third panel. I'm guessing it isn't AI if he gave the files though. It would be quite elaborate if he somehow spoofed the history, seems too intense of a job for a simple comic. You are probably right.
Edit: Man, the more I look at it, the worst it looks. The parrots face changes, its left eye changes position and color by the time it reaches the last panel. Actually looks precisely like the kind of perspective error an AI would make. The second panel, where her arm and necklace meet, has some weird stuff going on as well. The age of paranoia.
We can tell
I grade papers. It really is the age of paranoia, lol.
