Hi comrades … I’m trying to hold myself together writing this. My girls are still in custody and every hour feels heavier. I wish this was over but it isn’t and today I can’t pretend to be strong.

For anyone new… we’re a small group of trans women just trying to survive in Juba South Sudan with no family or support …only each other and the kindness of people who see our humanity.

A week ago, my three sisters were arrested while fetching water. I brought their documents to the station, hoping it would help but the officers said “it’s too late.” Since then they’ve faced beatings, humiliation and cold nights on the floor. Hearing them during my last visit broke me.

The officers are still asking for money for their release. We’ve covered part of it but we still need $596. That’s the only thing standing between them and safety. I wish I could pay it myself. I’m scared of what another night inside will do to them.

If you can help any amount or even sharing the link is in my profile /bio….it truly means a lot. I understand people being cautious but we’re real and every bit of solidarity has kept us going.

Thank you for reading and for holding space for us. I’m praying someone feels us today.

Every little share or donation brings my sisters closer to getting out. We’re still $596 short. Even a small help or just sharing this means the world. Thank you for standing with us 🙏🏿🙏🏿…
