Youre framing America's attack dog murdering tens of thousands of mostly children in response to Palestinians trying to escape a concentration camp as a victory for America's enemies because it made America look bad.
Maybe take a step back and realize these are actual human beings you're talking about.
If the US actually wanted Israel to stop, they would make Israel stop. They don't, so we can assume, despite what they say in public, they are OK with Israel's actions.
