this is that mage girl oc i drew a few months ago. her name is meldora and i have the drawings posted some time ago. i hope the webm worked. had to compress it so hard because of lemmygrad's file size limit of about 1mb or less, i can't even tell exactly because this is 821.7kbs. this shows that i can use it for vtuber-ing, but i do not have the proper stuff for it lol

this was first made in one week. drawing took two days, the other days were for rigging. i was sick at work at the time so i felt like making that. i do not plan to stream or anything because of privacy and shit but i do edit some bangers for my friends

software used: krita for the drawing, inochi2d for the rigging. i used openseeface to track my face but it's not really good due to my very bad webcam. kinda chugs my rig too.

hair physics were added too. also tongue and like two emotes

here are some screenshots of a few facial expressions

that is the big post i wanted to make. thank you lmao

thank you! i never watched a vtuber, i am interested in the tech instead.

heard holocure is a good game but i never played it. tried watching the dog but i never stuck around, not my thing.

i understand the controller thing, there's sadly no mod for controller support for beta 1.7.3, but i did try antimicrox on linux and mapped most of the controls there and it works as you'd expect

Yeah, I get what you mean. I've never watched VTubers either, but the technology behind it all is really fascinating.

Honestly, the only way I even know about Chrono Gear is through one of the devs I follow; I just tend to like their style.

I tried antimicrox and it works like you said! The only issue is I can't get the joystick to rotate the view fully in fullscreen (yes, I'm a fullscreen freak) without the cursor hitting the edge of the screen. Still, it's useful stuff though. Thanks a lot!

the game does remind me of castlevania. but i genuinely get lost all the time in any metroidvania game lmfao

also no problem :D

Chrono Gear is actually pretty linear and level-based, so getting lost isn't really an issue catgirl-happy
