What if it's the plot of Universe, but with all the camp and silliness from SG-1? ๐ฎ
Was SG-1 camp and silly? I guess some episodes were. It was made back when TV shows were allowed to be fun sometimes.
It gets increasingly camp and silly as it goes on. Early season aren't especially, but by season ten it's just goofing around.
I think I kinda petered out at Season 8. There could be goofy episodes thrown in (Wormhole X-Treme, Groundhog Day, whatever) but it also managed some drama. They lightened up a little when Sci-Fi Channel took over, they were trying to make ADULT tv when it was, what? Starz? That owned them at first.
Oh yes, very silly at times. I'm rewatching season 4 at the moment, so I'm positive.
Which is also what makes the show so cozy and enjoyable.
