The joke is solid, but just in case somebody here doesn't know what mindfulness really is, it's about focusing on your immediate environment and letting go of intrusive thoughts.

So, even if you are having issues with what's going on around you, as long as it's not stuff that you can sense directly and immediately with your eyes closed, then mindfulness meditation may actually help you let go of those thoughts. It's sort of like being in the shower when you just feel the water. In fact, I'm convinced that the mindfulness inherent in a shower is why you often get good ideas in the shower.

But if your problem is with something you can immediately sense, like the neighbors playing music too loud, then you'd need to be really advanced in mindfulness meditation to make that shit work at that point.
