Steamworks SDK adds support for Linux Arm and Android, and it seems we know the first Android game on Steam (www.gamingonlinux.com)

As we get closer to the launch of the new Steam Machine and Steam Frame, Valve put out a new Steamworks SDK that brings in libraries for linuxarm64 and android.

This is of course work more specifically for the Steam Frame, since it's using an ARM64 processor and it will support running Android APKs to hopefully get developers from other VR kits to work with it. And, as confirmed previously by The Verge, Steam itself is getting Android games to go with it.

Would you run a Valve SteamOS Linux phone that also runs Android apps flawlessly? I know I would. I'm sure that's not it, but I totally would. Lol

I'd do it just to see what games in my Steam library run decently on my Pixel.

I mean it would be a directly horizontal move in a huge market they don't yet exist in. So it would make market sense.

They have been building out incredible hardware teams, so they probably have the expertise.

I think I'm talking myself into hope. Lol
