The money comes from somewhere shitty always with these things. All you can do is hope they stay out of it as much as possible and let the artists do their thing
i have a feeling it will be like ROP, or TREK( have someone that doesnt know or care about the franchise become its showrunner, kurtzman)
I didn’t mind ROP. I take it for what it is, expensive fan fic. If we stick to the Tolkien lore to the letter, we would have had a dancing jack black singing rhymes in a yellow hat to Elijah wood.
We live in this weird time where a tv show is either a 10/10 or it’s “unwatchable garbage” people have no nuance anymore
