First, i'm infinitely grateful to the wonderful comrade who donated some. Any bit is so appreciated.

An update: i spoke to my landlord and gave them the 50 i was donated as a show of good will. They have agreed to give me until the end of the month to pay the remaining balance. I still need some help putting that money together, so I'm coming back to you.

And for context, here's the rest of the story:

After a few months of stability, I am again unemployed. My job search is taking longer than expected, and whatever little money I had saved up was spent on main necessities. My landlord is usually chill with me paying later. At least, that was the case until last week.

I got a text asking if it was correct that I had missed the last 3 months of rent. I made up some excuse about my direct deposit not going through, and told them I'd deposit as much money as I could ASAP. The problem is, I have no savings. Whatever little money I have is already called for before the end of the month.

I should be getting paid for a job in December, which will help me survive the winter and pay for that month's rent. But it won't be enough to get square with the three months I owe. I need some help so I won't get kicked out.

As on my previous posts, I have set up a ko-fi account, where you can donate anonymously: ko-fi.com/izzysfoodtakes (don't worry about the first name and opsec, it's a new name i'm trying out but nothing to do with my real name), and I can PM you my paypal username if you prefer to use that.

Thank you for reading. Any help you can offer is a step toward keeping a roof over my head, and I am so grateful. I look forward to paying this community's kindness forward when I'm able.
