General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

It must be exhausting being so sanctimonious.

Perhaps being a nominally Labour health secretary who has a long history of taking donations from the private healthcare industry is a conflict of interests? When you cap investment and reduce headcount in a very stretched health service, this is perhaps indicative that he is, in fact, an unscrupulous, untrustworthy, dislikable cunt.

But sure, bat for him.

Well done for saying something substantive.

Shame I had to call you both out for being disgusting to get here.

Also the reduced headcount is in NHS England, which has already been announced as being axed due to it being an extra layer of Tory bureaucracy. Are you actually in favour of keeping that around?

You had to call us both out for being disgusting? I can only assume you're either new to the internet or believe that politicians are precious little flowers. In any case, not your job to police anyone on here, so wind your neck in.

Also, not sure why you think I'm interested in having a debate with you about NHS England? That's rhetorical btw, i don't care.

I think you shouldn't be using constructions that verge on inciting violence ("have an accident") and then doubling down on saying that people are literally worthless. That is dehumanising, which is bad whether it's a politician you hate or not.

Amazing that you get annoyed by being called out and call it "policing". I'm not arresting you, I'm telling your being a shit human being. If you think only the mods or your mum or god can do that then you're wrong.

And if you don't want to have a debate about NHS England but are still keen to comment under articles about it, then seems like there's not going to be any point talking to you. Goodbye, and try not be a victims of the toxic culture you're fostering.
