back pain venting updateWoke up very sore this morning so decided it was time to see a GP (had only seen a physio before). As the pain is not worsened / activated by pressing down in the sore area, the GP suspects something deeper than a muscle issue. Got a blood test and x-ray done and some pain meds prescribed, now we wait. I am a little worried about how this is escalating, I really hope it's nothing serious but better to be safe than sorry. I have a physio appointment tomorrow but not sure I will go, I think I want to rule out a deeper issue via the GP first.

Meanwhile my work is piling up and I'm now realising running a business solo, how exposed I am if I am unable to work because of my health.

So glad you've gone to a GP and I hope you get answers quick! In the mean time may the meds give you some relief, but still don't push it! I'd skip the physio until you've spoken to the GP again.
