Without spoiling the ending or whatever, what is the general consensus behind why Chuck McGill started and continued to experience aversion to electromagnetic fields? (sopuli.xyz)

My current theory is it psychosomatically gave him control over Slippin' Jimmy, forcing Jimmy to be under his thumb

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if it all started or the "trigger" was when he found out Jimmy passed the Bar

It's pretty heavily implied that it started as a psychosomatic reaction after his wife left.

Edit: or it was Ernie that infected him with the condition, while secretly working under Gus who canonically had a vision with how all of BCS would play out and wanted to kickstart the timeline.
