So I made a bet with my friend that we'll have a human step foot on Mars in our lifetime or 30 years. And he's acting like that's impossible.

It's a question of how much money we want to spend. The cost keeps going down, but we don't want to spend nearly as much on it now that the US isn't showing off to the Soviets.
