I know she did an ad about jeans and it got a bit of outrage, but why are Trump and Republicans getting involved?

She's a republican with a magat family, so Republicans are just quick to glean onto that. I've never heard her say anything political, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

I feel the same way too I don’t really care either way about her opinion. But I do have a small feeling that she is just wanting for the right opportunity to go full mask off Republican so yea I guess I do have an opinion just waiting to either eat my words or be vindicated lol.
