If you haven't watched the dementia patient addressing the Navy, the video is in the story. Been saying that it's hard to feel the depth of his dementia without actually watching him. Reading makes it sound bad, seeing it in action is horrifying.

EDIT: That clip isn't the part where he talks about replacing electrical and magnetic elevators on our carriers and going back to steam. The whole speech is scary.

Looked on YouTube and there are tons of clips, including the whole hour-long talk. Wasn't sure where the relevant quotes were, but the whole thing was an embarrassing and frightening mess.
