I'm sorry but this is an unserious take. We might not know the reason for this, but to jump the gun and just say China is now dominated by neoliberals makes no sense. Basically all key industries are still publicly owned in China, there are 5 year plans, the population still learns and studies Marx and Marxism in school and they still maintain their commitment to the 2049 goal, I see literally no reason to think China is anywhere close to neoliberal.
Besides, we can criticize China for it's lack of internationalism and it's consequences right now while also acknowledging that they have set themselves to become internationalist again also by 2049.
