Why did Carney apologize? He's didn't release the ad, nor was it dishonest. Stop letting Trump feel so important and let him rot and fester in the aftermath of his choices.

Still no confirmation from the PMO but if anything, it might have been just a Canadian 'sorry' in the 'excuse me' sense.

Canada has like 5 meanings for an apology.

Some of them mean "I'm sad you're the way you are", and this may have been that.
