Yes, you are right. A shame that the Brazilian workers' party don't live up to MST's potential.
They don't officially position themselves as communists and have a diversity of ideologies including reformists, social democrats, Christian socialists and others among their ranks.
But yes, they are huge and have been making great partnerships with Venezuela lately since the Brazilian government turned its back on both.
They also have a sibling movement called "Movimento dos Trabalhadores sem Teto" (Homeless Workers Movement) that you might find interesting too!
