Not quite an everyone clapped moment, but nobody believes me when I tell this one.

About 15 years ago, I was in a pub with my partner and about a dozen or so of our friends, and there were probably about another 20 people sat at different tables. A few of our table went outside to smoke, so the rest went to do other things at the same time, like use the toilet and go to get more cash, so I stayed at the table to watch our things.

The barmaid was out from behind the bar tidying up when 'I Will Follow Him', the song from Sister Act came on the jukebox. She started singing along and playing up to some of her friends, so her friends joined in and sang with her.

All of a sudden, she jumped up onto a table to dance, and everyone else in the pub joined in. They were all singing and dancing like something from a cheesy musical!

The song finished, and they all laughed and clapped and went back to their seats as if nothing had happened. My friends started drifting back in, and none of them believed me when I told them what they'd missed!
