Already has to some degree. But, really, it would be more helpful if we stopped trying to think of things in terms of Countries. Thats not how the world works anymore. Sure, it still has some influence. But the interest of all wealthy aligned in their class interest.

They might fight amongst one another and use state relationships to their advantage. But at the end of the day all ruling class of the world own a piece of the US and every other major country to some degree. The interest of the wealthy first and foremost align with their ruling class position.

All we are seeing now is the working class of the US begin to be treated in the same manner as how the states of the past treated the working class of "third world" nations. They feel as though they no longer have to compromise with the working class in the imperial core.

They are confident enough in their power and connections that they no longer have to hold on to the ideas of nations for anything more than to divide those they rule over.

It's about time we all learned this. Especially, in the US. We are no longer "special". They will build the slavery that they have in the rest of the world "at home". Its what they are doing now. You think the "child labor" that built our electronics was because of "bad countries"? No, it was formed by the same class and people that have power today. This is nothing more than what has been done for centuries; the only difference is it's being turned inward on the people that bought the lies of "freedom".

I was going to suggest Russia, but Russia's having a hard time bankrolling Russia right now.
